Transformer — Efficiency

Note
Ideal transformer

Ideal transformer is a transformer that there is no power loss, so 100% efficient

Total power input = total power output

Not Efficient Transformer

In real world, there will be usual power loss in the transformer.

for example, 80% efficient transformer, which means, out of the 100% input only 80% get to the output, 20% is loss as heat.

How to calculate if 80% efficient.
