Brownian Motion / Brownian Motion
Robert Brown, a botanist accidentally discovered a phenomenon. While he was observing pollen grains suspended in water under the microscope he notice that the tiny particles ejected from the pollen grains were engaged in a rapid, irregular, and continuous "jiggling" motion. He observed the same with smoke particles. So it creates a lot of curiosity and after many many studies with different types of material, organic and inorganic, the discovery lead to kinetic theory of gases.
