Gas Pressure / Gas
Why Gas has Pressure?
The gas particles moves in all direction randomly at high speed and colliding against each other.
So in a containter, the particles will collide against the walls of the container.
This causes change of momentum per unit time
So there will be force exerted by the particles on the walls
So since P=F/A so there is pressure exerted by the gas
Why Gas pressure increase?
Gas pressure increase when the particles collide against the walls more frequently
So more change of momentum
So greater force
So greater Pressure
