Simple phenomena of magnetism — Draw

Question
Question

Sketch the magnetic field pattern around a bar magnet, showing its direction.

Answer

Outside the magnet, field lines emerge from the N pole, curve around, and enter the S pole, forming closed loops (they continue inside the magnet from S back to N). The lines are drawn with arrows pointing from N to S, and are closest together (most dense) near the poles, where the field is strongest, spreading out and weakening further away.
