Series and parallel circuits — Calculate
Question
Question
How do you calculate the combined resistance of two resistors connected in parallel?
Answer
1/R = 1/R1 + 1/R2 (equivalently R = R1R2 / (R1+R2)); the combined resistance is always smaller than the smaller of the two individual resistances.
